INCENTIVES
2011-2012
**Points accumulate for all quizzes passed within the current school year with a 70% or above. Books must be in the student's reading zone or from the reading text book denoted by (MH).
INITIAL RECOGNITION/TAGS:
AR key chains are presented when a student passes the first quiz taken in the current school year on an AR book (not a reading story). The homeroom/reading teacher gives the names to Mrs. Plaisance and students are recognized at a morning assembly.
DRESS DOWN DAY/TAGS:
1 per 9-weeks for students who have accumulated points within that 9-weeks as follows:

6th & 7th Grade: 20 points**Dress down days do not constitute actually spending the points – they are an added incentive. A certificate will be sent out at the end of each 9-weeks to notify the student.
PRIZE CART:
Students may spend points at the AR prize cart as they are earned. Parent volunteers will run the cart. Homeroom/reading teachers will award tickets for points earned. Prize cart will be available during lunchtime on designated days.

BREAKFAST CLUB:
One held each semester at school with Mrs. Gandolini. Point cost is as follows:
