PRINCIPAL’S CORNER
Our 8th grade graduation was held on Saturday and was a very special event. We would like to congratulate our graduates and thank everyone who helped to make it so meaningful. Special thanks goes to our 7th grade Moms for coordinating the reception.
Kindergarten promotional ceremony was held today and was also very special. Thanks to our 1st grade Moms for handling the reception.
Our format of recognizing students for their academic achievement will be a little bit different this year. We will have an awards assembly for grades 1-7 on Friday beginning at 9:15 in the Kern Center. Parents are welcome and invited to attend as we celebrate individual achievement this year. Instead of receiving a handout with the individual awards on the last day as you have in the past, the names will be placed on the website during the first week of June. You are encouraged to continue to watch the website over the summer!
Please be aware that, with your child’s report card, you will receive everything that you need to prepare for next year. Enclosures will include: a principal’s letter, supply list, summer reading list (gr. 2-8) and a tentative 2004-05 calendar. You have already received uniform information.
I hope that you all have a wonderful summer!
