Comments:
St. Angela hosts a boys tournament on a Saturday and is a big boost to help finance our volleyball program.

St. Angela prides itself on its great volleyball teams. 

Last year’s (2003-04) volleyball teams was headed up by Coach Manny Randazzo and assisted by Coach Zeke Pepperman.  Our Junior Varsity Girls’ had an impressive record of 5 wins, 3 losses with all of the team members playing on the St. Angela Volleyball Team for the first time.  Our Senior Varsity Girls’ record was 7 wins, 1 loss, coming in 2nd place in District 2.  Senior Varsity went on to win 1st place in the East Bank Catholic School Athletic Conference Championships and tied for 5th place in the City Championship.


VOLLEYBALL INTRAMURALS
4th & 5th Grade

St. Angela is looking forward to the 4th & 5th grade volleyball intramurals again this spring 2005.  Boys and girls participate and form co-ed teams and play against each other.  Games are held Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.  A Senior Varsity member is both captain and player on each team, helping teach the fundamentals of volleyball to our 4th & 5th graders.  Everyone is encouraged to participate, regardless of playing level. 
  Encourage your child to participate and come cheer them on in the games.  It’s a great way to introduce competition of game in a fun and educational way.
